Mixed media – Tibetan prayer flag, acrylic paint, and gold leaf
 
This piece is part of my Prayer Flag collection. It was painted at Ghost Ranch in Abiquiu, NM in 2018. When looking closely towards the bottom of the painting there's an added layer of texture. I pasted Tibetan prayer flags there that used to fly in my backyard. I enjoy repurposing these flags that imbue my paintings with peace. It was a vibrant spring, which inspired my choice in color.
