Mixed media – Acrylic paint on watercolor paper, ancient Chinese text, and spyrograph decal
I was thinking about the rambunctious energy of my cats when I made this piece. At that time, my cats were named Matisse and Monet. They were brother and sister. Watching them as they sprung into action from a restful position always amazed me. This piece was painted in the fall, reminiscent of the chosen spectrum of color.
The painting comes mounted on quarter-inch black foam core.
dimensions: 12 x 31 inches
